A pair of vertical declining dials

These dials are carved into the stonework on the corner of the Public Library in Shrewsbury. The handsome early 17th. century stone building was the original home of Shrewsbury School. The dial in this photo faces South-West and is indicating approximately 1 p.m. local time. To the right of the photo you can make out the second dial of the pair, facing south-east, which is shown in the next photo.
